Guthrie Patient: June 2019
The care I received was excellent. Very confident and explained the action plan for my condition. He was very pleasant and answered all my concerns.
Guthrie Patient: June 2019
I was given the minimal amount of information. He barely spoke to me, did not explain the findings, minimized the problem, and gave only suggestions not recommendations.

My shoulder surgery at Guthrie at Sayre was my first experience with Guthrie--and I was genuinely impressed with the level of professionalism, wait time, explanation, etc. on that surgical day. HOWEVER: my followup with this P.A. was disappointing. He did not: look at my shoulder at all, did not touch or move it. I expected he would ask what I could/couldn't do or ask which movements hurt, or ask 'on a scale of 1-10 my pain level', etc. He did not ask if I was taking any meds; I volunteered the information that my PT suggested meloxicam. He then said 'ok' but nothing about length of time, etc. He DID go over the photographs and explain what was done. He did NOT discuss how long the pain would last, or how long it would be before regaining full use of my right arm/shoulder. Very disappointed and would not like to see this provider again.
Guthrie Patient: April 2019
He did not like a statement that I made about the surgery that I had and got mad and walked out of the room, telling me that the nurse would be in to take care of me
Guthrie Patient: March 2019
I was in as soon as I got there.
Guthrie Patient: January 2019
It's difficult to get the orthopedic dept. to contact after sending a message on the Guthrie webpage. It often takes more than a week. My second appointment with Nick, he continued saying 'You know' very often. He also didn't seem to think surgery was in my future down the road as was the first appointment with him. I was told at my first appointment with him I would eventually need a reverse shoulder replacement and now he seems to think it won't be necessary now. I'm to live with the pain.
Guthrie Patient: September 2018
very good
Guthrie Patient: August 2018
*Mr. Marsiglio was very friendly and courteous. Listened to my needs and helpful.
