I came in for something for a dry cough and that was not addressed at all. I was tested for all respiratory issues then walked to the door

I visited Dr. Estill regarding a inguinal swelling on my left side which he confirmed was a hernia. He carefully explained that I could go on without doing anything about it but should avoid heavy lifting. He said repair would be an elective surgery that was not necessary unless I wanted it done. I asked if he had my type of hernia what he would do and when he said he'd have it repaired I asked him about the surgery options. He gave me names of two surgeons in Ithaca when I asked who might be good to contact locally. What I forgot to ask is how wise it might be to do the repair sooner rather than later
