Guthrie Patient: December 2018
Dr. Appleton printed out and interpreted a whole-body CT report from the night of my accident that I needed for a different heath concern. He is always ready to help, without hesitation. He sees the best in people; he is positive, generous, upbeat, always has something nice to say.
Guthrie Patient: December 2018
good honest about recovery drgree and time; upbeat about progress seen on xrays and degree of physical improvement listened to p.t. expeiences which i like/
Guthrie Patient: November 2018
Dr. Appleton greeted me with his welcoming smile (even though he might well not have had a reason to smile that day). He was happy for me that my foot was looking so much better. It was because of him that I was able to persist in finding the specialist who was able to make it right. All the other surgeons told me not to bother, that I should just accept it as it was, and it wasn't that bad. It turned out it did need quite a lot of adjustment. Only Dr. Appleton stuck with me the whole time, and gave me the support I needed to see it through. When I first looked up at him in the ER that first night after the accident, he was hovering over me with a look of grave concern on his face, and told me he'd try to save my foot; he was already wearing his blue surgical cap, with a bright light behind his head. It was like I was looking at an angel. And he has been my guardian angel ever since.

Guthrie Patient: September 2018
Dr. Appleton does everything he can to make me feel better. He knew I needed a specialist to perform my last reconstructive surgery. Just before the scheduled date, he sent me an article coauthored by the specialist, because he knew it would reassure me that I was in good hands. He is so thoughtful and kind.

Guthrie Patient: September 2018
amazing skill, explanations of mt 3 bone breaks in arm, gentle touch, good questions about circumstance , med history, where I live a rarity he knows this area , even checked on pharm I use patiently developed prognoses possibles, reassured about best or worse bone positions and healing.Humor and respect welcomed my family friend (r.n.)as what we termed 'patient advocae'. In a bad time for me this became a very good time during our visit. Extraordinary.
