Camp Hope for Kids is a day camp for children and teens who have experienced the loss of an immediate family member such as: a parent, guardian, grandparent, or sibling.

Our caring staff will offer guidance and support. Campers will also participate in Healing Circles, a support group that gives opportunities for each child and teen to share their stories, get to know each other and learn ways of coping. The children will also enjoy art, music, swimming, hiking, games and more!

Who can apply to Camp Hope?

Any child or teen from ages 6-14 years of age that has experienced a death in their lifetime of someone significant to them.

How much does it cost?

Camp Hope is free for all participants thanks to our generous community sponsors.

What happens after I submit an application?

The Camp Hope Committee will review your application for the camp. Final decisions are made at the end of July. You will be notified by phone at that time of the Camp Hope committee's decision if this program is appropriate for your camper.

Enrollment for this program is limited to 40 children. Due to the popularity of Camp Hope for Kids in our community, first time campers have priority. First time campers will be enrolled on a first come first serve basis. Return campers applications will be not be enrolled until the first time campers have enrolled.
