Advanced Practice Provider - Surgical Oncology & Pancreatic Cyst Clinic

Highlights of the Position

  • Outpatient, office-based role with no nights, weekends, or call
  • Focus on pancreatic cystic lesions, premalignant conditions, hereditary cancer risk, and cancer surveillance
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of gastroenterologists, surgeons, radiologists, oncologists, and genetic counselors
  • Participate in tumor boards, specialty team meetings, and cancer care planning conferences
  • Serve as a consistent point of contact and advocate for patients navigating complex care
  • Division support for pursuing accreditation in Genetic Counseling

Candidate Requirements

  • Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) licensed in Pennsylvania
  • Certification through ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA as applicable
  • 2+ years of clinical experience in gastroenterology, oncology, or hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) care preferred; new graduates with strong interest in oncology will be considered
  • Experience with advanced imaging review (CT, MRI, EUS) and familiarity with pancreatic pathology preferred
  • Strong communication, clinical judgment, and team collaboration skills
