Palliative Care – Advanced Practice Provider (Binghamton, NY)
As a Guthrie Lourdes Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, you will play a very important role in caring for our palliative patients while collaborating with physicians, other advanced practice providers, as well as Guthrie Specialists throughout a strong referral network.
Highlights of the Opportunity
- Opportunity to provide inpatient and/or outpatient palliative care services as part of the Guthrie Lourdes Supportive Care & Palliative Care Practice, located at Guthrie Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton, NY.
- Provide palliative care services while demonstrating flexibility and commitment to support coverage needs for palliative care patients throughout the Guthrie Health System.
- No weekends are required.
- No call is required.
- Focus is on relieving the pain and symptoms of the palliative patient and coordinating services which include advance care planning, coordinating emotional, and physical care, managing side-effects from treatment, and providing caregiver support and resources.
Work Life Balance
Standard hours - Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Candidate Requirements

- Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
- Ability to obtain/maintain a Pennsylvania and New York State license.
- The successful candidate will exhibit flexibility and a willingness to assist in meeting the evolving palliative care coverage needs throughout the Guthrie Health System.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Comprehensive Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive Salary range starting at $125,000- $135,000 depending on experience.
