Orthopedic - Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant

Guthrie Lourdes is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its Guthrie Johnson City Pavilion Orthopedics’ team.

Highlights of the Opportunity

  • Experienced and New Providers welcome to apply.
  • A full time fast-paced position that includes clinical outpatient assessments, initial and follow-ups, inpatient rounding and surgical assists in the OR.
  • Implementing treatment plans at the direction of orthopedic surgeon.
  • Prescribing medications and treatments.
  • Providing patient education and counseling.
  • First call shared equally among all APPs in the practice.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Candidate Requirements

  • Current license in New York State.
  • Master's degree in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited program. RNFA required for nurse practitioners.
  • Experience working in a surgical practice or hospital setting is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.

Comprehensive Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive Salary range of $125,000-$135,000 depending on experience.
  • Paid Call coverage shared equally with other APPs in the Practice.
  • Full benefits including medical dental and disability insurance.
  • Malpractice insurance with tail coverage.
  • 403B and 457B retirements options; HSA option available.
  • Reimbursement for licensure fees, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certificate and renewals
