About the Community

Located in the Southern Tier of New York State, Vestal is in Broome County, New York, a 3-hour drive from New York City and Philadelphia, and home to Binghamton University, the state of New York’s flagship public university, which has consistently ranked in the top 50 public universities in the country according to US News & World Report.  A midsize university town, the Vestal area boasts great diversity in culture, religion and lifestyles. About the Facility

Guthrie Lourdes Hospital has served the city of Binghamton and surrounding communities with compassionate patient care for the last 99 years. Acquired by Guthrie, a not-for-profit, integrated health care system, in early 2024, Guthrie Lourdes joins Guthrie in serving Northeast Pennsylvania and the Southern Tier region of New York with six hospitals and 76 regional offices in a 13-county catchment area. Our team of nearly 1,000 Physicians and Advanced Practitioners provide access and care to more than 2 million patients annually.
