Guthrie is excited to announce that we have partnered with Broome-Tioga BOCES to sponsor tuition for select students in the year-long Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program. Limited sponsored spaces will be available for the August 2025 class, and we are currently accepting applications. If you are selected and successfully complete the LPN program, you will receive a full-time position as an LPN at Guthrie.
Details of the program:
- Classes begin in August 2025
- High school diploma required
- Limited spots available
- Selected candidates must interview with both Guthrie Lourdes and BOCES
- Must pass TEAS. The exam is offered twice/month at BOCES Learning Center in Endicott, NY
- The student will commit to working in a per diem Patient Care Partner position on the weekends and during breaks from school
- Must maintain a passing grade of 70%
- Following successful completion of LPN Program, candidates commit to working in a full-time LPN position at Guthrie Lourdes
