Guthrie Same Day Surgery Center is the first multispecialty ambulatory surgical center of its kind in Chemung County. A "mini-hospital" with two operating rooms, and 2 endoscopy suites and private, comfortable patient accommodations, this spacious, out-patient center is located within a convenient office-based setting.

Because Guthrie surgeons perform only outpatient surgeries at the Same Day Surgery Center, they are able to schedule procedures more quickly with less chance of delay. For you, that can mean a shorter wait for your surgery and less chance of any delay in the surgical schedule. In addition, Same Day Surgery Center staff members are able to work with you and your family doctor to coordinate your care with Guthrie diagnostic, primary, specialty and follow-up providers at convenient Guthrie locations throughout the area.
