This doctor is not very friendly but that is a cultural difference. This is fine for me, but others may find her to abrupt.

Guthrie Patient: June 2019
I liked her when I first met her. I came to her for a specific reason. I waited weeks for the appointment when I should have been called back immediately and told that the answer would be no and that she is not comfortable prescribing. It is in my records what medicine I am taking. I informed the office that I was pregnant beforehand. Someone in the office should have alerted her and myself of what I was asking beforehand. The Dr. told me a flat out no with no explanation even though she is not a specialist with pregnancies. I explained that I went to a specialist and was fine with her seeing his recommendations and research. I left that day terrified bc I have been on the same medication for 5+ years. She was okay leaving me high and dry without taking the time to understand. If those were her beliefs. Fine, but I shouldn't have waited weeks for the appointment and therefore I am now at a risk of a lapse in medication bc I wasted weeks maybe 5? for an answer that was decided before I walked into the door.
