Guthrie Patient: October 2018
I went to Pat Dodge because of a concern that I thought could not wait until my regular scheduled appointment with Sharon K. Though I (we), wife, thought I had a UTI. It still took me to see anyone 5 business days to see someone. I thought that was a bit too long, but I did not have a UTI anyway. So it worked out. Though they did blood tests and I have not heard anything back on that yet.
Guthrie Patient: September 2018
Excellent, professional & good!
Guthrie Patient: September 2018
She checked with Dr. Kuntz before making a final decision which is good but her analysis of my condition was incorrect according to Dr. Kuntz.
Guthrie Patient: August 2018
Pat Dodge, NP called me at my home to review results of all blood tests and also called me at home on a Saturday to review results of CT Scan. I think she is awesome..............
Guthrie Patient: August 2018
I really liked Patricia Dodge, she is GREAT and I am very happy with her.
Guthrie Patient: August 2018
I appreciated being able to see PA Pat on-the-fly. I have been experiencing ear/jaw pain periodically, and yesterday was one of those times. So I dialed up Guthrie, and they worked me into Pat's schedule. Most appreciated.
Guthrie Patient: July 2018
All preliminaries were good. Have to wait for blood work and follow-up.
Guthrie Patient: June 2018
Guthrie Patient: May 2018
Patricia Dodge is an excellent PA. I would see her anytime as I feel she uses the best professional judgement. I would recommend her to anyone that would need to see someone when their doctor is not available. No waiting and her nurse is outstanding and they make a great team.
Guthrie Patient: May 2018
The provider was clearly not knowledgeable about my issue. Her behavior after looking at my issue was odd, her words and body language conveyed nervousness and she was unable to provide a definite answer about what I was facing, she used the word 'pre-cancerous' which caused me concern instead of just coming out and saying she didn't really know what she was looking at, but felt it was not yet cancerous. I think an unsophisticated patient wouldn't have asked the questions I asked and I wonder if their condition would have worsened in the intervening time it would have normally taken to get a dermatology appointment at Guthrie Ithaca. In discussing options, she did not even know that my primary physician often routinely handled my issue, I found that out from him later on. That is just unacceptable, to boot, I did not get a call back the next day and had to call on Friday two days later to followup. I heard that she was out sick, but that doesn't matter, someone else should have taken up the reins in that period. This was a very disappointing experience and thankfully has not been my typical experience at Guthrie. This person should not be attending patients with issues that are outside of her comfort zone and should get some customer service training to deliver the results in a more somber and focused and thoughtful way.
