Guthrie Patient: October 2017
Dr. McFarland really listened to me. I appreciated that very much,
Guthrie Patient: October 2017
She was excellent, answered all my questions and was extremely helpful regarding my concerns.
Guthrie Patient: October 2017
I left the appointment in more pain and more confused about my diagnosis/treatment than when I went in. She basically told me that the symptoms I was having were not symptoms of my MRI diagnosis. When what I have read and talked to other medical personnel about say that it is. When my pain is in one area Dr. McFarlane wants me to go to PT for a different area telling me that she believes that is 'where my issue is'. I have been in severe pain for about 7 months and she wants to send me to PT for another 6 weeks before I see her again and 'see where I am at then'. I think I am going to be looking for a 2nd opinion.
Guthrie Patient: September 2017
Doctor Macfarlane takes time to listen to any concerns I have and explains everything thoroughly. She is very approachable and understanding.
Guthrie Patient: September 2017
I needed different medication, called got NO reply - 10. Never.
Guthrie Patient: September 2017
It was not just this tie but my next appointment. She came in and said there was nothing else she could do and walked out for a total of 1 minute in the office.
Guthrie Patient: September 2017
Diagnostic testing. Will have to return for L hand sometime.

Dr. McFarland was amazing. Kind and caring. Wonderful bedside manner. She put father at ease from the moment she walked in the door.
