Sayre, Pa. – Guthrie officials will be joined by Representative Matt Baker in cutting the ribbon on the new Guthrie location at 110 Plaza Lane in Wellsboro on Thursday, May 3 at Noon.
An open house for the public will be held from 4 – 6 p.m. on the same day offering tours and refreshments for area residents to view the new facility and visit with staff. Door prizes will be given away and WNBT radio will do a live broadcast.
Dr. David Pfisterer, lead physician for the Wellsboro location, said, “We are very excited about this new facility. It will offer us greater efficiency in treating our patients and allow us to bring additional specialty providers to the area.”
The new, expanded Wellsboro regional office has more than 14,000 square feet of space, making room for two more providers and additional traveling specialists. To increase patient convenience, ancillary services like chemotherapy and imaging will be available on-site.
The current Wellsboro location on Water Street has 20 staff members and 7 providers and sees 30,000 patient visits a year.
