Revised: Guthrie Announces Final Summer Opportunities to “Walk with a Doc”

Sayre, PA – Guthrie offers three final opportunities to “Walk with a Doc” this summer in Elmira and Ithaca, NY. Residents are invited to enjoy a healthy walk in the park at their own pace and have questions answered by a local physician.

Each walk will be approximately 30 minutes and participants are encouraged to bring friends and family to take part in one walk or the entire series. Water and refreshments will be available at each location. For more information call (570) 887-6720.

“Walk with a Doc” is a free, non-profit program for anyone interested in taking steps for their health. Bring friends and loved ones or come alone, and enjoy a refreshing, rejuvenating walk in the park. The “Walk with a Doc” program is active in over 95 communities nationwide.
