Public Notice of Magnet Recognition Program® Site Visit

Sayre, PA – Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital was designated as a Magnet organization in 2008 by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Magnet Recognition Program®. This prestigious, four-year designation recognizes excellence in nursing services. Fewer than seven percent of the nation’s hospitals have earned Magnet designation.

From January 27 to January 29, appraisers from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) will conduct a site visit at Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital as part of the Magnet Recognition Program® re-designation process. Please view the Public Notice from the ANCC at

Patients, family members, staff, and interested parties who would like to provide comments are encouraged to do so. Anyone may send comments via e-mail, fax, and direct mail. All phone comments to the Magnet Program Office must be followed up in writing.

All comments are confidential and will not be shared with Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital. Those who choose to submit comments anonymously must submit them in writing.
