The Guthrie Weight Loss Center and Wellness Committee will host the Food Farm Family Festival on Saturday, August 5. The event will be held at Howard Elmer Park in Sayre, Pa. from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. This is a free community event that will promote healthy living in a family-friendly environment.
The festival will feature free family fun, food samples, simple and fun movement activities, Farmers’ Market items on sale, community organizations and much more. Over 30 different vendors from different groups within the community will be in attendance.
The first 100 children who visit the activity tent will receive a special gift, and cooking demonstrations will show healthy preparations for a variety of fresh foods.
