Sayre, Pa. – Favorable weather has allowed construction to begin on the new Guthrie Troy Clinic medical office building on the new campus it will share with the future Guthrie Troy Community Hospital.
The building is more than 17,000 square feet and has 34 exam and procedure rooms. It will be connected to the new hospital facility by an enclosed walkway, one of the benefits for patients on the integrated medical campus. The new medical campus is scheduled to open in October 2013.
The new clinic facility is 5,000 square feet larger than the current building and has more than double the number of exam rooms. Services from the existing clinic will move to the new campus, including cardiology, OB/GYN, orthopedics, anti-coagulation clinic and occupational medicine.
The Guthrie Troy Clinic sees more than 26,000 appointments annually.
