Sayre, Pa. – Guthrie welcomes Vincent La Delia, MD, Najeeb Rehman, MD and Adbul Waheed, MD, to the Guthrie family of services. The physicians, formerly of the Twin Tier cardiology group, will be renamed Guthrie Cardiology and will continue to see patients in Pine City, Big Flats, Erwin, Watkins Glen and Bath.
The physicians will begin seeing patients June 10 in Pine City, N.Y. Patients can call 607-734-6281 to establish as a Guthrie cardiology patient and set up an appointment.
Established patients will continue to see the same providers they have come to know and trust.
Dr. La Delia, Dr. Rehman, and Dr. Waheed, join Guthrie’s comprehensive team of 28 cardiovascular providers serving 13 locations throughout the region. “We believe the physicians and staff of the Twin Tier cardiology group are a complement to our cardiology and this partnership will offer a tremendous benefit to our patients and the Chemung, Schuyler and Steuben county residents”, stated Dwight Stapleton, MD, Guthrie Clinic Department of Medicine Chairman.
Guthrie will accept most of the insurances of the current practice and the office will transition to Guthrie’s electronic health record. The Guthrie electronic health record is a robust system that allows the patient records to be easily accessible at any of the Guthrie offices and accessible online for the patient at eGuthrie, www.eguthrie.org.
