Guthrie Tree for Life to Honor Bill Ransom

Bill RansomThe Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital Auxiliary is pleased to announce that this year’s Tree for Life ceremony will be in honor of the memory of local businessman, philanthropist, and long-time Guthrie chairman William “Bill” Ransom III. The tree lighting ceremony will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 2 at 5:15p.m. in the Guthrie Sayre Atrium Lobby.

Participants are invited to donate a light for $5, a strand of lights for $25, or a special star ornament for $100. All funds raised support Guthrie Hospice and Lifeline patients. Donation forms can be picked up at the Guthrie Sayre Atrium Lobby information desk, the gift shop, the Guthrie Sumner Lobby, or by contacting Debbie Thompson at 570-887-4702.
