Guthrie recently presented the 2017 Donald Guthrie Distinguished Provider Award to Dr. Mustafa Aman, a bariatric surgeon at Guthrie Weight Loss Center in Sayre.
The award was presented during the fifty-third annual Recognition Awards Banquet, held each year by Guthrie Medical Group. Dr. Aman was nominated by three patients and selected by a committee for this prestigious award. Patients recognized Dr. Aman’s kindness, ability to put them at ease, and excellent bedside manner in their nomination forms.
This award recognizes providers who have gone above and beyond to provide outstanding service that has made a meaningful difference to the patients at Guthrie. Guthrie invites patients, employees, and the Twin Tiers community to nominate providers for this award each year in August.
