Guthrie Physician Receives Board Certification for Occupational Medicine

David DeRegis, MD of the Guthrie Occupational Medicine team has recently received his board certification in Occupational Medicine, making him the fifth physician at Guthrie to achieve this prestigious distinction.

Dr. DeRegis has 14 years of experience in Occupational Medicine. He recently completed a residency in Occupational Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania, and is now trained and board certified in both Internal Medicine and Occupational Medicine. 

“I am honored to join the ranks of my fellow alumni, including Dr. Theodore Them, the chief physician of Guthrie’s Occupational Medicine section, and Dr. Robert Reed who graduated from this same program. The work of Occupational Medicine is both challenging and rewarding as we strive to help employers keep their workforce safe and healthy,” Dr. DeRegis said.
Guthrie’s Section of Occupational Medicine has provided services for more than 20 years to area employers for the purpose of maintaining a healthy, productive workforce for our region.  Guthrie is the only facility in the region with the quality and expertise of five board-certified physicians and a large, multispecialty clinic to treat injured workers. Guthrie prides itself on strong communication with more than 2,000 corporate clients.
