Guthrie Opens New Southport Office

Sayre, Pa. – Guthrie celebrated the opening of the new Guthrie Southport office with an official ribbon cutting including local officials and the providers and staff that will work in the new location.

The new location replaces the Guthrie Pine City and Elmira offices as well as welcoming new services including mammography and orthopedic services.

Officials from the region and Guthrie staff came together to celebrate the new facility, which was built in eight months at a cost of four million dollars. At more than 13,000 square feet, the building is twice the size of the former Pine City location and offers greater access and parking capacity. It is located at 1335 Cedar Street, at the intersection of Clemens Center Parkway and Cedar Street.

The new, larger space will allow for more visiting specialists from the Guthrie system to hold hours in Southport, saving patients travel time. Mammography and orthopedic services will be available. It will also feature an electronic medical record system that is fully integrated with the Guthrie program.

The primary care staff of the new Southport office, includes William McClintic, DO, Robert Armstrong, MD, Thomas Gustafson, MD, Brent Ingerick, DO, Heidi Hodder, DO, and Andrea Herman, PA-C.
