Guthrie Oncology Chief to Participate in Online Chat

Bringing health care information directly to area residents, the chief of Guthrie Hematology/Oncology will take part in an online chat every Wednesday starting on Wednesday, Aug. 31 from 7 to 8 p.m. EST and running until the end of September.

Philip Lowry, MD, will answer questions about how to protect yourself from cancer, current options for cancer treatment, and the services of the new Guthrie Cancer Center.

He subsequently completed a residency and fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at the University of Virginia Health Sciences Center.
