Elmira, N.Y. – Guthrie cardiologists and cardiac surgeons are offering a community education event to provide health information about women and heart disease.
The Women's Healthy Heart seminar and health fair will be held Thursday, Feb. 23, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn, Big Flats, N.Y. The health fair will offer important health information to women from 5 to 6 p.m. followed by an education seminar.
Robert Larson, MD, Vascular Surgery, and Rodrigo Samodal, MD, Family Medicine, will present on how you can protect your heart, reduce your risk of stroke and highlight some of the advancements in vascular surgery that are exciting and worth learning.
Light refreshments will be served at the event. Registration is required by Monday February 20; seats may be reserved by calling 570-887-6720. This programs is open to the public and offered free of charge as a community health education service.
