GUTHRIE HOSPICE TO HOST HOLIDAY BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT GROUP

Sayre, Pa. – Guthrie Hospice will be offering a one night Bereavement Support Group meeting that focuses on the Holidays. It will be on Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, from 6 - 7:30 p.m. in the 2North Conference Room at Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, Pa.

The holiday season can be an especially difficult time for people who have experienced a close personal death. While the phases of grief are universal, the way each person grieves can be different.

By attending this one night meeting, you will gain insight and understanding concerning the holidays and how it relates to your grief experience and realize that you are not alone in your grief. Facilitating the support group will be Rev. Jeffrey Wilkinson, Chaplain and Bereavement Coordinator and Karen Robinson, Hospice Social Worker.

The Community Bereavement Support Group is an outreach community service sponsored by Guthrie Hospice that is intended for anyone who has experienced a loss. Please call Guthrie Hospice at 1-800-598-6155 to register or to call with any questions that you may have regarding grief or the Support Group.
