Sayre, Pa. – Guthrie Hospice will be offering a one night Bereavement Support Group meeting that focuses on the Holidays. It will be on Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2011 from 6 - 7:30 p.m. in the 2 North Conference Room at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA.
Facilitating the support group will be Rev. Jeffrey Wilkinson, Chaplain and Bereavement Coordinator and Karen Robinson, Hospice Social Worker. The holiday season can be an especially difficult time for people who have experienced a close personal death. While the phases of grief are universal, the way each person grieves can be different.
By attending this one night meeting, you will gain insight and understanding concerning the holidays and how it relates to your grief experience and realize that you are not alone in your grief.
The Community Bereavement Support Group is an outreach community service sponsored by Guthrie Hospice that is intended for anyone who has experienced a loss.
