Guthrie Honors Volunteers during National Volunteer Week

Sayre, Pa. – Guthrie celebrated National Volunteer Week, April 6-12, by recognizing volunteers across the Guthrie system.

In Sayre, Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital volunteers were treated to a week-long series of activities including free haircuts and styling, manicures, massages, a pancake breakfast and a recognition dinner. Joan Cotton of Nichols, N.Y. was chosen as the Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital Volunteer of the Year.

Mary Volpe of Painted Post, N.Y. was voted Volunteer of the Year at Corning Hospital and Barb Manley of Troy, Pa. was named Volunteer of the Year at Troy Community Hospital.
