Sayre, Pa. – Guthrie’s 11th Annual Golf for Guthrie Hospice, held at The Club at Shepard Hills on June 21, raised over $38,000 for Guthrie Hospice.

Many local and regional businesses as well as individuals support this tournament at various levels. Williams Auto Group was once again the title sponsor and Keck’s Food Service, Inc. was the Banquet Sponsor as they have been since inception. Tioga Downs Casino, Racing & Entertainment joined the tournament as the Registration Sponsor for 2013.
More than 150 sponsors and donors and 38 foursomes contributed to this year’s event. The Golf for Guthrie Hospice tournament committee thanks all of the sponsors, donors, and volunteers who contributed to this year’s tournament. Guthrie Hospice provides end of life services for patients and their families throughout the region as well as bereavement services in the community. Services are provided to all who request them, regardless of their ability to pay. The mission of the tournament is to raise funds for Guthrie Hospice to enhance and support hospice programs and services, as well as offset the expenses related to caring for indigent patients. The tournament has raised over $320,000 since its inception in 2003.
