Guthrie CEO Dr. Joseph Scopelliti has been announced as the Chair of the 2018 American Heart Association Southern Tier Heart Walk. This event is held annually in Binghamton each year. The 2017 Walk, which was held last weekend, raised over $245,000 towards heart research and programs.
Dr. Scopelliti said: “It is a real honor to be able to take part in such an important community event. Good heart health is a key indicator for preventing disease and illness. Partnering with the American Heart Association allows us to share our expertise and to play a role in keeping our communities healthier, for longer.”
