Sayre, Pa. – Join the Robert Packer Hospital/Guthrie Auxiliary for a trip back in time with “An Evening of Radio Comedy” on Saturday, April 21, 2012.
A throwback to the great shows of radio’s bygone era, the evening will include performers in period costume, sound effects, commercials, music and all that made it exciting to be in the audience for the popular radio shows of the 1940’s and 50’s.
This special event will take place in the Guthrie Patterson Auditorium on the Sayre campus at 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. The cost is $12.00. Refreshments will be available at intermission.
Tickets are available at the Sayre Theater, Jay’s Furniture and Carpet and the Robert Packer Gift Shop. Proceeds will benefit the Guthrie/Robert Packer Hospital Auxiliary, which supports the programs of the hospital.
