Guthrie Announces New Providers

Guthrie is proud to announce the arrival of the following providers who recently joined the organization:

Elysa McClintic, M.D. joins the specialty eye care team at Guthrie. She is a board certified, fellowship trained ophthalmologist. Her clinical interests include functional eyelid surgery and reconstruction, orbital disease and surgery and tear duct surgery. Dr. McClintic completed her residency in ophthalmology and her fellowship in oculoplastics and orbital surgery at Wake Forest University Eye Center in Winston-Salem, N.C. Jedediah McClintic, M.D. is a board certified, fellowship trained ophthalmologist with clinical interests in age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and retinal detachment. Dr. McClintic completed a residency in ophthalmology at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio and a fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, N.C. Michael Andrew Meyer, M.D. is the co-chairman of the neurosciences service line at Guthrie. He is a fellowship trained, board certified neurologist with clinical interests in Alzheimer’s disease, brain tumors, and neurological disease. He completed his residency for neurology at The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. and two fellowships in Nuclear Medicine and Brain PET Imaging, at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pa. and the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Mich. Nathaniel R. McElhaney, M.D. is a fellowship trained cardiothoracic surgeon with clinical interests in esophageal surgery, lung surgery and thoracic oncology. He completed his residency at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Md. and a fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, Tenn. Mireille Taufik, M.D. joins the family medicine team at Guthrie Corning Centerway. She is a board certified family medicine physician with clinical interests in geriatrics, preventive medicine and women’s health. She completed her residency at University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences Center for Family Medicine in Minot, N.D. Jennifer L. Bau, M.D. is a board certified, fellowship trained radiologist with clinical interests in body imaging, breast imaging, and diagnostic radiology. She completed residencies in diagnostic radiology at Penn State Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pa. and Oklahoma University Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City, Okla. and a fellowship in diagnostic imaging and body imaging at Penn State Hershey Medical Center.

Darshan Lal, M.D. is a hospitalist currently seeing patients at Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, Pa. His clinical interests include cardiovascular care, gastroenterology and pulmonary critical care. Dr. Lal completed his residency in internal medicine at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai/Queens Hospital Center in Jamaica, N.Y.

Ananth K. Ravi, M.D. a board certified, fellowship trained radiologist joins Guthrie with clinical interests in musculoskeletal imaging, neuroradiology, oncologic imaging, and pediatric radiology. His residency was at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Ark. and he completed a fellowship in musculoskeletal radiology at Indiana University in Indianapolis, Ind.

Michael A. Caruso, PA-C is a physician assistant with clinical interests in family medicine, orthopedics and pediatrics. He completed his education at Duke University in Durham, N.C. He is now seeing patients at Guthrie Erwin. To make an appointment with Michael, please call 607-973-8000.

Patricia Dodge, PA-C joins the family medicine team at Guthrie Ithaca as a certified physician assistant. She completed her education at Touro College, School of Health Sciences in Bay Shore, N.Y., and has clinical interests in adolescent care, internal medicine and newborn care. Laure Weaver, FNP-C joins the family medicine team for walk in care at Guthrie in Sayre. She is a certified family nurse practitioner with clinical interests in cardiology, critical care, family care and geriatrics. She completed her education at Binghamton University in Binghamton, N.Y.
