Sayre, Pa. – The Guthrie Troy Community Hospital, Building Healthier Communities Campaign received a generous gift from Howard and Olynda Smith of Troy, who invite the community to join them in supporting the new medical campus.
Mr. and Mrs. Smith gifted the new hospital $100,000 in support of the Building Healthier Communities campaign, which will enhance the patient care experience at the new Guthrie Troy Community Hospital when it opens later this year. Their gracious gift will be honored with the naming of the Board/Conference Room in the new facility.
Donating to the new Guthrie Troy Community Hospital campaign is simple and there are several naming opportunities still available. In addition, donations of $5,000 and higher will be recognized on the Founder’s Wall in the new facility. If interested, please contact the Guthrie Resource Development office at 570-887-4420 or visit www.guthriegiving.org.
The new $30 million Guthrie Troy Community Hospital is on schedule for opening in late summer of 2013. The 25 bed critical access hospital will offer all private rooms, enhanced technology and will be connected to the new Guthrie Troy Clinic, improving patient convenience.
