All walks will begin at 9:30 a.m. and water and refreshments will be available. The public is invited to participate in one walk, or the entire series. According to the American Heart Association, walking is one of the best physical activities a person can do. It reduces the risk of heart disease, improves blood pressure and helps control weight.
“Walk with a Doc” is a free, non-profit program for anyone interested in taking steps for their health. Bring friends and loved ones or come alone, and enjoy a refreshing, rejuvenating walk in the park. The “Walk with a Doc” program is active in over 95 communities nationwide.
