2 North Conference Room Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital
Guthrie Hospice will be offering a five-week support group for those dealing with bereavement. The Community Bereavement Support Group is intended for anyone who has experienced a loss.
The phases of grief are universal; the way each person passes through each phase is different. By attending the Community Bereavement Support Group, you will find support from others who have suffered a loss and will know that you are not alone in your grieving process.
The support group will be facilitated by Rev. Jeffrey Wilkinson, Guthrie Chaplain and Bereavement Coordinator, and Karen Robinson, Guthrie Hospice Social Worker. Topics will include the grieving process, coping skills, and communication and stress management.
The group will meet every Wednesday from Oct. 1 through Oct. 29, from 6 - 7:30 p.m. in 2 North Conference Room at Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, Pa. To register for the group or to find out more about coping with grief, please call Guthrie Hospice at 1-800-598-6155.
