In-service Volunteers

Volunteering at any of Guthrie’s four hospitals offers a wide range of opportunities including services for patients such as wheelchair transport, flower delivery, visiting, delivering mail and other errands. Volunteers can also be seen greeting visitors at information or reception desks in areas throughout the facilities, or delivering x-rays and medical records to various departments, performing department-specific tasks as well as providing clerical support. At Corning Hospital, In-Service volunteers manage the hospital Gift Shop and sponsor Santa’s Secret Shop for children.
