Learning the basics of infant care and what to expect will help you on your journey into early parenthood.

This interactive two-session class is designed to review the basics of newborn care with parents-to-be. Topics include:

  • handling
  • bathing
  • feeding
  • diapering
  • swaddling

Common concerns discussed include:

  • comfort measures
  • safe sleep
  • car seat safety
  • and more!

This course can be taken at any time during pregnancy.

The class date listed is the first class session. The second class session will be the following Wednesday after the class date listed. For this series, the dates are:

  • Wednesday, April 10
  • Wednesday, April 17

Only one class registration is required for each class couple. This is registration for the expecting mother and one class partner of her choice.

Sarah Kline
RN, BS, BSN, CCE

Sarah worked as a labor/delivery RN for 5 years. She is a certified childbirth educator through PCE, and started teaching in October 2017.

Timothy Bruns
DDS

Dr. Bruns is a pediatric dentist who works for Guthrie Binghamton Dental Care.
