Musculoskeletal Imaging

Musculoskeletal imaging provides detailed images of bones, joints and associated soft tissue for diagnosis and treatment of disorders and injuries. Musculoskeletal imaging uses multiple imaging modalities including X-ray, computed tomography (CT), ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

Our board-certified, fellowship-trained physicians use Musculoskeletal imaging for conditions including:

  • Back, shoulder, knee, hip  and neck pain
  • Bone tumors, both malignant and benign
  • Complex sports injuries
  • Soft tissue tumors, both malignant and benign
  • Spinal injuries

The Guthrie medical imaging department works in close collaboration with our musculoskeletal and oncology departments in diagnosing and treating conditions of the bones, joints and associated soft tissue.
