Whipple Procedure

The Section of Gastroenterology & Hepatology provides diagnostic evaluation, consultation, medical management and treatment for patients with disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, liver and pancreas.

Services include endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography, endoscopic management of biliary calculi, endoscopic papillotomy, G1 laparoscopy, diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, esophageal manometrics, evaluation of swallowing disorders, GI function laboratory, laser therapy for GI bleeding, tumor palliation, liver biopsy, the Whipple procedure and 24 hour esophageal pH monitoring.
