Guthrie's section of Orthopaedic Surgery
offers evaluation, consultation, treatment, surgical, and medical
management for a wide range of orthopaedic conditions related to the
bones, joints and muscles. Areas of expertise include joint replacement
(including hip, knee, shoulder and ankle), sports medicine, shoulder
care, foot care and trauma care.
Guthrie Orthopaedics has been
recognized nationally for quality. In 2000 Corning Hospital was ranked
among the Top 100 Orthopaedic Hospitals in the nation by HCIA-Sachs. These organizations help assure the public of
quality orthopaedic care by establishing high educational standards for
their orthopaedic surgeons and by evaluating their qualifications and
knowledge.
