Cardiac Rehab services are designed to help patients with heart disease recover faster and return to full and productive lives after a cardiac event. The program combines education and exercise. Exercise to help strengthen the entire cardiovascular system; and Education to learn how to reduce or eliminate the risk factors which contributed to the build up in the arteries. Phase 2 Cardiac Rehab is a three-time a week program for up to 36 visits per patient. Individuals who have heart disease such as angina, have had a heart attack, angioplasty, stent or open heart surgery. Cardiac Rehab can make a huge difference in a patient’s life. It helps to improve the quality of living, making people stronger, helping to learn how to make wiser food choices, manage stress, quit smoking, manage diabetes, and live longer by reducing the chance of future heart problems. A patient has to learn how to make the behavior changes that are imperative to keep the arteries open. will help the patient verify insurance coverage. Other important facts:
