Cardiac Rehabilitation

Cardiac Rehab & Risk Factor Reduction

  1. What is Cardiac Rehab?
  2. Cardiac Rehab services are designed to help patients with heart disease recover faster and return to full and productive lives after a cardiac event. The program combines education and exercise. Exercise to help strengthen the entire cardiovascular system; and Education to learn how to reduce or eliminate the risk factors which contributed to the build up in the arteries. Phase 2 Cardiac Rehab is a three-time a week program for up to 36 visits per patient.

A patient has to learn how to make the behavior changes that are imperative to keep the arteries open.

  7. Will insurance cover Cardiac Rehab?
