SPOUSAL EMPLOYMENT - GENERAL SURGERY RESIDENCY PROGRAM

The Office of Medical Education makes every effort to assist a resident's spouse in finding a job. A wide variety of employment opportunities exist in the immediate Sayre area and surrounding communities.

Regional employers include Osram Sylvania, Dupont, Corning Incorporated, Dresser-Rand Corporation, Toshiba-Westinghouse and IBM. Local colleges include Cornell University, Ithaca College, Elmira College, and State University of New York, Binghamton. Local school districts, social service organizations and service industries, and health care institutions also provide employment.
