Guthrie Family Medicine residents reap the benefits of the highest quality medical training delivered in an environment of teamwork and personal attention. We are committed to maintaining the Guthrie tradition of excellence, while preparing our family physicians for the next generation of patient care. Our location is ideal for those interested in practicing in a rural setting, yet our status as a regional tertiary care center gives residents access to an extraordinary range of cases. Customized clerkships are also available, so prospective residents can be exposed to a wide array of primary care experiences. 

 

Guthrie is an ideal environment for graduate medical training. The program's smaller size allows each resident to become an important member of the team, building genuine camaraderie between residents and attendings.
