Sports Medicine:
- Learn the full spectrum of primary care sports medicine and how to include
it in your practice
- Participate in regular sports medicine walk-in clinics
- Learn and fine tune your joint injection skills
- Opportunities to learn and assist in casting, splinting and joint
injection
- Participate in sports preparticipation physicals
- Assist with medical coverage of sporting events
- Football
- Wrestling
- Marathon
- Work with athletic trainers in the rehab department and at the schools
- Learn the opportunities that exist to expand knowledge and scope of
practice regarding primary care sports medicine (fellowships, jobs etc)
Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine:
- Maximum exposure to Fellowship trained DO attending as well as DO
residents and students
- Weekly OMT conference
- Didactics
- Hands on training

- Assist with literature search and protocol regarding future office based
OMM research
