Guthrie Improves On-line and Mobile Access to Health Information

Sayre, Pa. – Guthrie today launched a new website and launched the very popular patient portal, eGuthrie, as a mobile app, downloadable for iPhone, Droid and iPad mobile devices.

The new website, www.guthrie.org, has improved service information, physician information and search functions, making finding the information you are looking for about Guthrie much easier.

eGuthrie allows patients to view their lab results, request prescription refills and email their provider all from any internet capable computer. Now you can access this information from your mobile device. The eGuthrie app will offer many of the same features and all of the convenience. More than 20,000 Guthrie patients have enrolled in eGuthrie since its launch in October of 2010.

Patients with an iPhone, an iPad or a Droid can download a free app that will give them access to eGuthrie much like on a computer. If they use a Droid, they go to the Android Market and search Mychart. You then select Guthrie as your health care provider and download. For more information visit www.guthrie.org/eguthrieapp.

If a Guthrie patient hasn’t enrolled in eGuthrie yet and wishes to, it is as easy as calling your provider’s office for an authorization code.
