The Sayre Turkey Trot 5K and Kids' Fun Run has been a Thanksgiving Day tradition in Sayre, PA since 2007. With 500 registered participant in 2011, the Sayre Turkey Trot has become the largest 5K running event in Bradford County! Proceeds from the event are used for Robert Packer Hospital/ Guthrie Auxiliary community support and outreach projects.

  • Kids' Fun Run - 9:30 a.m.
  • 5K Turkey Trot: 10:00 a.m.
  • Awards: approx. 10:45 a.m.

  • Overall Male & Female 5K participants & Age Group Awards
  • First Master's Male & Female 5K participants
  • First TURKEY TROT TEAMS (all-male team, all-female team & co-ed team) - NEW!
  • Kids' Fun Run: First 50 kids receive gift
  • Age Group Awards: 1st & 2nd in each age group, male & female
  • 5K: 11 and under; 12 -15; 16-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50- 54; 55-59, 60 & Over.
Entry Fees:  

Online registration: Opens August 1st; Closes: Friday, November 16th, 12 midnight

  • 5K individual pre-registration: $20
  • 5K Turkey Trot TEAM (up to 5 people): $18 per person
  • Race Day: $25 individual/ $23 team participants (checks/cash only)
    Proceeds benefit RPH/Auxiliary community & hospital projects
  • Race Day Registration opens: 8 AM, closes 9:30 AM
  • KIDS' FUN RUN (10 & under, please): FREE
  • Kids, please bring a travel-size toiletry item (toothpaste, shaving cream, etc) to donate to the Sayre House of Hope.
    Please note: No refunds. No switches/ exchanges.
  • NEW! Please remember to pick up your Race Bib and race tech-shirt Wednesday night, November, 21 in the Guthrie Patterson Auditorium, 1 Guthrie Square, Sayre, PA from 5 - 7 PM. Race Day packet pick-up opens 8:00 AM, closes 9:30 AM.
