Description:

Guthrie provides community support groups for individuals who are part of the surgical weight loss program. Support groups are free and open to any weight loss surgery patients in our area, regardless of where you had your surgery. We want you to be 'plugged in' somewhere to a community of people like you, and if this location is most convenient, we are happy to help. The community support group is also an opportunity for patients thinking about having weight loss surgery to learn more about what life is like after surgery, to learn strategies for long-term success, and to find supportive friends who have already been through this life-changing surgery.
