Stipends & Benefits

Annual Stipends:

  • PGY-1 $50,264
  • PGY-2 $55,103
  • PGY-3 $57,310

Relocation Allowance:

A relocation allowance of $5,000 is given to each new incoming first-year resident and will be included in the resident's first paycheck.

Educational Allowances:

An educational allowance of $1000 is available per contract year for the PGY-1 residents and $2000 per contract year for all PGY 2-3 residents. The educational funds are provided for expenses related to the purchase of educational resources, medical society dues, attendance to educational conferences, and travel related to attending an educational conference.

Housing, Meals and Uniforms:

  • Affordable housing is available on and off campus.
  • Meal allowance is provided..
  • Lunch is available for lectures and conferences held at noontime.
  • Each resident is supplied with three white lab coats annually.

Personal Time Off: (PTO)

  • PGY 1 residents receive 15 working days of PTO per academic year.
  • PGY 2 – PGY 3 residents receive 20 working days of PTO per academic year.

Educational Time:

  • Educational leave for all residents may be approved for up to 5 working days per academic year for conference and meeting attendance.
