New Troy Community Hospital
A long tradition of caring will continue for Guthrie Troy Community Hospital, but within the dream of a new facility made reality in the near future. Guthrie Troy Community Hospital, a critical access hospital, serves as the essential "first-responder" to any and all health conditions for the residents of Bradford and Tioga counties. Providing the most timely and urgent of medical services for a wide-ranging patient base, Guthrie Troy Community Hospital will now have a new campus conveniently located on Route 6 with easy access and sweeping views from each of its 25 private patient rooms.
In addition the new hospital will feature:
- A larger Emergency Department with more treatment bays.
- A helipad built near the new campus will save precious minutes of transport time.
- Primary care and specialty care physician offices on the same campus to provide convenience for patients.
- Technology infrastructure upgrades will support the use of patient electronic health records, as well as teleconferencing and telemedicine.
This new medical campus will truly be a point of pride for area residents and symbolize the continue change and growth in the region.
