Insurance

• Health and Dental Insurance – Group health insurance plans are available for eligible employees, their spouses, and dependent children. The plan allows employees to pay their portion of health and dental premiums on a pre-tax basis.

• Life Insurance – Eligible employees are covered by a group term life insurance policy with a core benefit of $50,000. Employees are able to purchase supplemental benefits up to three times their annual salary.

• Short- and Long-Term Disability Insurance – To those employees who qualify, short- and long-term disability insurance is available to protect against the loss of salary or wages if they should become disabled.

Flexible Spending Accounts

Optional medical and dependent care accounts are available to meet your needs and the needs of your family.

 

Paid Time Off

Guthrie offers a generous paid time off allotment for all eligible employees.

 

Tuition Reimbursement

For those wishing to finish their education or pursue more training, Guthrie reimburses for expenses for education and training.

 

Retirement Benefits

Depending upon which Guthrie entity employs you, two types of retirement savings plans are offered:

• Guthrie Healthcare System offers a Tax-Sheltered Annuity Plan – The 403(b) plan is a retirement savings plan that offers employees the opportunity to save and invest their money on a pre-tax basis. After the first year of service, Guthrie will match a percentage of employee contributions to the 403(b) up to the first five percent of the employee’s contribution. A financial advisor is on site to assist with financial planning and investment strategy.

• Guthrie Clinic offers a Savings and Profit Sharing Plan – Employees may contribute up to the designated IRS annual limit on a pre-tax basis. Guthrie Clinic will make a basic contribution of two percent of your monthly gross pay, whether or not you make voluntary contributions. In addition to the basic contribution, the Clinic has the discretion to add profit sharing contributions to your account.

Employee Assistance Program

The Guthrie Employee Assistance Program provides information, education, counseling and support to all employees and their family members, so that we each may reach our fullest potential as people and as employees. The service is free and confidential.

Direct Deposit

As a convenience and so that funds are immediately available to you, payroll checks can be deposited directly into your account with any bank that accepts ACH funds.
